Getting Back to Basics
We’re a family that left the city because we felt called to something quieter, simpler — and peaceful. After the Texas ice storm in 2021, we knew it was time to make a change. The way everything fell into place — from selling our old house to finding this land — could only be explained by the Lord’s hand.
Now we live on 11 acres surrounded by beautiful pine trees, with kids exploring the woods and animals enjoying free backyard concerts (we all love music). There’s even a patch of bamboo tucked at the back of the property — a little surprise we never expected.
At On the Homestead, we create handmade goods that get back to the basics — natural soaps, engraved games, handcrafted jewelry — all designed with love and made to be shared. We believe in doing things the right way, not the fast way. We hope our products feel like something you’d get from a good friend.
More than anything, we want to build community — rooted in faith, creativity, and everyday beauty. Thanks for being here with us.
